Terms and Conditions:
➤ Salary: $16.55 per hour
➤ Hours of work: 35 hours per week
➤ No. of weeks: 8

Applicant MUST meet the following eligibility criteria:
➤ Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment;
➤ Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and;
➤ Be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations;
➤ International students are not eligible.
Executive Assistant:
The Executive Assistant will be responsible for performing a wide variety of administrative duties and providing executive support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The role will also entail organizing and coordinating meetings with the Board of Directors, senior management team, and other workgroups.
Responsibilities:
➤ Provide administrative support to the Executive director
➤ Scheduling and calendar management
➤ Manage the entire board meeting coordination process
➤ Prepare agendas and packages for meetings
➤ Expense management
➤ Minute taking Report preparation
➤ Prepare, edit, and proofread correspondence, presentations, reports, and other related materials.
Event Co-ordinator:
The Event Coordinator acts as the contact for planned events and programs. They will assist the Events Manager with all on-site and off-site event planning.
Responsibilities:
➤ Promote fundraising events and programs accordingly with the Events Manager.
➤ Compile all event information in a timely fashion to complete an accurate and precise event proposal for each potential event.
➤ Assist in the completion and maintenance of event marketing materials.
➤ Manage all communication between the Events Manager and other departments in a timely and professional manner.
➤ Participate in and coordinate all aspects of event planning for each event.
➤ Ensure that all concerned departments are aware of their specific duties regarding planned events and programs.
➤ Act as the onsite contact for events, including coordinating deliveries, event set up, facility preparedness, signage, attendees assistance and all planning and day of event requirements.
➤ Assisting with the event billing, event reports and issuing thank-you letters following each event. Provide timely event income reports and participate in annual facility use planning.
Fundraising Campaign Organizer:
The role of the Assistant Fundraising Coordinator is to assist the Fundraising Manager in the effective execution of fundraising initiatives. They will assist in increasing the profile of our charity and partner organizations.
Responsibilities:
➤ Develop, maintain, and enhance substantial donor and organization relationships.
➤ Meet approved annual fundraising goals by supporting the execution of fund-raising programs and event.
➤ Work with and report to the Executive Director to develop the appropriate implementation of plans for community engagement maximization to build a donor base in a designated territory and increase funding.
➤ Proactively engage with potential donors to educate them on our charities’ work and encourage signups for monthly donations to the charity of their choice.
➤ Administrative procedures include taking down donor information, processing transactions, and reporting donor information to respective charities.
➤ Assist Executive Director and Fundraising Manager in identifying and developing operational plans and tactics for growing community presence, fundraising and business relationships.
➤ Work with the Executive Officer, Fundraising Manager and important department leads seamlessly.
Administrative Assistant:
An Administrative Assistant will provide a wide range of core administrative-related tasks and support to others in the organization, including Managers, other employees, and donors. This position performs reception duties, coordinates office technology, and critical administration tasks in support of all departments as required.
Responsibilities:
➤ Provide technical support and ensure equipment is set up for webinars.
➤ Maintain schedules for multiple departments.
➤ Assist with invoicing and expenses.
➤ Attend weekly meetings and conduct minute-taking.
➤ Prepare weekly reports for review.
➤ Provide project support.
➤ Prepare documents for team members.
➤ Assist with reporting and analysis.
➤ Assist in any event coordination and management.
➤ Liaising with internal teams to ensure projects are on track and provide support.
➤ Assist in general office support (filing, mailing, courier, printing, etc.).
➤ Other administrative-related tasks as needed.
Media Co-ordinator:
As a Media Co-ordinator, you will develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract more customers and promote our brand. Ultimately, you should be able to increase web traffic and customer engagement metrics aligned with broader marketing strategies.
Responsibilities:
➤ Research audience preferences and discover current trends.
➤ Create engaging text, image, and video content.
➤ Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products.
➤ Stay up to date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness.
➤ Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries.
➤ Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans.
➤ Help Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics.
➤ Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions.
