What is Fidya
A Muslim may be unable to fast during Ramadan for various reasons, including illness, pregnancy, or travel. In these instances, they must make amends by feeding a needy person for each day of fasting they missed during Ramadan. Fidya is the cost of feeding one needy person each day.
